I started this business by making
gourmet soup, bread, and dip mixes layered in Mason jars and selling them
at the
local Market in November, 2004. They sold well and we were off to a
great start. After the holidays, though, sales plummeted. We ditched
the Mason jars, dropped our prices, and expanded our offerings. We
had a huge, loyal following.

In 2008, we opened up a
second
storefront, outside of the Market, to offer our gourmet mixes, the unique ingredients therein, as well as
hot sauces and a few fun foodie items.
The creation of an e-commerce site followed shortly thereafter. It all went over so well, we outgrew our storefront
in about 9 months. We decided the best option was to consolidate
both locations onto one property along with our personal residence.
It didn't take too long to find the
perfect
place. Now, manufacturing, retail sales, and wholesale orders are processed out of the same
location. Our only storefront is our web site. |

I think we're a little overdue for an upgrade and we're ready to
take our business to the next level. I hope these changes happen
seamlessly, don't interfere with your purchasing experience, and
benefit you, as well. |
