Big Changes are Coming Soon @ Firehouse Pantry We're about to complete our 12th year in business and thought this is the perfect time to announce some big changes we have in store for the next year:
Rebranding Firehouse Pantry will soon become Firehouse Flavors. "Flavors" explains what we're about more so than "Pantry". Check out and rate some potential new logos here. We'll pick one on 11/14/16, so tell us what you like!
Defined Product Line Our offerings will include the mixes and seasoning we manufacture plus the ingredients we stock to make those items. Take advantage of our "product pruning" and save an additional 15% off Clearance Bin items when you use the coupon code 15OFFSALE*
More Attractive Packaging We're introducing more professional-looking labels and nicer packaging for retail-size items. No more utilitarian look; these are suitable for gift-giving!
Modern Web Site We're working with a development team to get a new web site built. You've commented that our current site is outdated. We listened.
Wholesale Cases We've purchased industrial packaging machines and will begin offering cases of prepackaged mixes and seasonings as soon as the next line item happens.
New Location with Storefront The search has begun for a larger manufacturing and warehouse space. We may open our doors for retail sales once or twice a week, too.
The Evolution of Firehouse Pantry
Firehouse Pantry Timeline
I started this business by making gourmet soup, bread, and dip mixes layered in Mason jars and selling them at the local Market in November, 2004. They sold well and we were off to a great start. After the holidays, though, sales plummeted. We ditched the Mason jars, dropped our prices, and expanded our offerings. We had a huge, loyal following.
In 2008, we opened up a second storefront, outside of the Market, to offer our gourmet mixes, the unique ingredients therein, as well as hot sauces and a few fun foodie items. The creation of an e-commerce site followed shortly thereafter.  It all went over so well, we outgrew our storefront in about 9 months. We decided the best option was to consolidate both locations onto one property along with our personal residence. It didn't take too long to find the perfect place. Now, manufacturing, retail sales, and wholesale orders are processed out of the same location. Our only storefront is our web site.
I think we're a little overdue for an upgrade and we're ready to take our business to the next level. I hope these changes happen seamlessly, don't interfere with your purchasing experience, and benefit you, as well.

Enter coupon code 15OFFSALE during checkout and it should take 15% off all items from the Clearance Bin, including spice jars and 1 pound bags. There is no expiration date set yet, so you can keep attempting to use this code for a long time. It won't work in combination with any other coupon code. You must enter it during checkout, as we won't alter your order once it's been placed. Bla, bla, bla; you get the gist.
